During the early weeks of the pandemic, it wasn’ tuncommon to find people sharing strategies to decontaminate surfaces on news outlets, online and social media platforms. Many regulatory health agencies also highlighted the importance of properly disinfecting surfaces in community settings, such as buses, churches, schools, and shops. But as the pandemic progressed researchers found that transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus happened through aerosol droplets. As a result, indoor, crowded, and inadequately ventilated spaces put building occupants at far greater risk. The heightened awareness of airborne transmission emphasized the importance of proper ventilation and air purification solutions for viral mitigation.

Sanalife, air purification and surface sanitization solution company, understood the gravity of the situation. They teamed up with Aerus— an air and surface purification manufacturer—to carry their suite of ActivePure® Technology purification products. Engineered in partnership with NASA, ActivePure® is a patented, advanced, and active form of Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO) technology that creates and propels safe disinfecting molecules into the air that provides absolute protection against airborne and surface pathogens.

The need for commercial air purification and surface sanitization solutions has never been greater. As a result, Sanalife recently launched its Autonomous UV Sanitization Robot and ActivePure HVAC Induct Air Purification products. The ActivePure® Induct systems are customizable and integrate into any existing HVAC ductwork to provide industrial grade air purification and efficiently reduces contaminants such as mold, bacteria, and viruses in the air throughout a building.

Sanalife’s solutions help ensure any facility has the cleanest indoor environment possible. “We are proud to provide state-of-the-art air purification systems and UV sanitization solutions to help our customers and millions of people maintain clean indoor spaces that promote health and wellness,” mentions Rielis Mesquita, President and CEO, Sanalife.

Sanalife’s provides customized and effective air purification solutions which have helped many local communities such as businesses, schools, and medical facilities to reopen by safeguarding their spaces and provide an additional layer of protection for their employees and customers. For instance, they worked with the Tyngsborough School District to help them safely open schools with portable air purification systems in their classrooms.

What further differentiates Sanalife from its competitors is its customer experience model that revolves around understanding clients’ needs and customizing the right air purification and sanitization solution that provides the appropriate air and surface protection. “Our team is fully dedicated to delivering exceptional customer care, quality service, and unparalleled custom solutions,” adds Mesquita.

This integrity and commitment of Sanalife to serve people was not grown overnight. The mission stems from an unfortunate childhood experience that Mesquita endured when he lost his two brothers due to the consumption of contaminated and unclean drinking water. The heart-wrenching experience did change Mesquita forever.

He knew that his family was not alone to suffer the loss; many people across the globe undergo the same problem. It instilled a strong determination in Mesquita’s mind to keep people healthy and well. Several years later, in 1991, when he laid the foundation of Aqualite US a water filtration company, his primary objective was to make pure water available and affordable to everyone and educate people about its importance. No doubt, the company is still pursuing its mission of making this world a better place to live in, and with the launch of Sanalife in 2021, their shift to the air purification space rightly exemplifies it.

Mesquita believes that in the upcoming months, as schools and workplaces will reopen, they would require an extra preventative measure and the reassurance of clean air. And Sanalife will have a prominent role to play. “Our mission is to help businesses and institutions navigate the operational challenges the COVID-19 pandemic has presented, and help them reopen by safeguarding their spaces and provide an additional layer of protection for their employees, students and customers.” Mesquita concluded.
