Top 4 Advanced HVAC Trends Construction Enterprises Must Adopt

The HVAC industry is continuously growing and has a lot of potential in both new and mature markets and the latest trends arising are undoubtedly playing a massive part in shaping the industry today.

FREMONT, CA: The HVAC industry involves heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. HVAC is used in many buildings and construction sites nowadays. While most people tend to overlook HVAC, it can be one of the biggest consumers of energy in a facility. The HVAC industry is tied closely to the construction industry and is driven heavily by federal and state regulations. There are many upcoming trends in the HVAC industry, namely the push towards smart and environmentally friendly technology. Below given are some of the HVAC trends that shape the construction industry.

Smart HVAC Units

The IoT has spread to HVAC units, meaning the construction site can now control the heating and cooling from the smart device. This enables to easily manage group from a distance, which can save a ton of money on energy each month. New systems can detect outdoor weather conditions, like the humidity and direct sunlight, and change the indoor temperature accordingly.

Ductless HVAC

Ductless systems have become significantly popular among commercial buildings due to their easy installation. These systems are trending because they can save a ton on energy spending. This is because ducts can be inefficient in transporting heat and cool air due to holes and gaps in the ducts. Ductless systems have multiple air handling units that are connected to the single outdoor network. This means that if one of the handling units goes out, only that one room is affected, instead of the complete building.

Eco-Friendly Systems

It's no secret that the HVAC systems use a ton of energy to function, especially if they are commercial units. Eco-friendly HVAC is a relatively new trend, but it's one that should be utilized in the right away. Not only can the industry save money on energy bills, but using things like solar energy can provide tax credits and rebates.

Accurate Control

Having precise control is vital for buildings that need to be at a specific temperature. For instance, if an enterprise has a warehouse the holds items that need to be cooled at a universally precise degree, new HVAC systems can provide that. While this isn't a new idea, the trend is that up-to-date HVAC installations can more accurately control temperature than older units.
