How is North Park Innovations Group Enhancing Accuracy and Efficiency in HVAC-R Industry?

North Park Innovations Group, headquartered in Ellicottville, NY, offers one-of-a-kind product lines focused on bringing accuracy and efficiency to the HVAC-R industry.

FREMONT, CA: A woman-owned business, North Park Innovations Group, has been awarded for clean energy training from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) to help in coping with the rising demand for trained workers in the state’s quickly increasing clean energy economy.

Chosen from a competitive selection process for a two-year contract, their cost-sharing funding of $250,000, will allow North Park to enhance the curriculum and high-tech products, as well as train thousands of present and future technicians in New York State’s Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry. They will be able to install and utilize cutting-edge tools with integrated software and reporting, bettering the energy efficiency in HVAC systems all through the state.

“We are proud to be equipping these technicians of the future with state-of-the-art technologies,” states Lori Northrup, Chairman. “It is inspiring to be able to expand our support of vocational choices in the clean energy economy of New York State, providing well-paid, high-tech careers that are in great demand now and in the future. NYSERDA’s financial assistance stretches what we can accomplish, and is truly a win-win,” says Northrup.

New opportunities for commercial HVAC contractors and Vocational schools will be introduced to receive complimentary iConnect Training and iManifold products as well as the curriculum for training and testing.

Alicia Barton, President, and CEO of NYSERDA, stated, “Under Governor Cuomo’s leadership, New York is on the path to a carbon-neutral economy across all sectors that are helping fuel clean energy job opportunities throughout the state’s rapidly growing industry. We are pleased to watch the accomplishments of North Park Innovations as they continue to design, manufacture and program high-tech energy-saving and training products to ensure New York workers have every opportunity to thrive in this high-growth field.”

The company’s Clean Technology Training Program helps organizations throughout the state by offering training and experience to the workers in clean energy businesses.

North Park Innovations is collaborating with the State University of New York at Buffalo to construct machine learning and artificial intelligence in the power of their solutions in addition to the development training systems and to complement their products in the IoT of HAVC.

For its contributions to the construction sector, North Park Innovations Group was featured in Construction Tech Review Magazine as one of the “Top 10 HAVC Solution Companies 2019.”
