B2W Employee App works in conjunction with B2W track to provide a reporting solution for workers that operate independently of crews, job sites, or supervisors.
FREMONT, CA: Small and large organizations frequently rely on time and performance tracking to ensure correct payroll. Daily management requires a significant amount of time, and it can be difficult for managers and owners to keep track of when their staff arrived at work, took lunch breaks, and left at the end of the day. B2W Software, a market leader in heavy construction software, has expanded its ONE Platform with a new mobile application for tracking labor hours, productivity, equipment use, and other data for independent personnel.
“A lot of contractors have approached us about the challenge of tracking equipment operators, truck drivers, and other employees that work independent of crews and supervisors on job sites,” explains B2W Software Founder and CEO Paul McKeon. “We responded with a mobile solution to capture and communicate this vital data and to sync it, when necessary, with data from their crew-based employees and projects.”
The B2W Employee App is an intuitive way to track this information on individual work logs. Work log data can be integrated with comparable data generated for crew-based employees using B2W Track electronic field logs. The unified method provides contractors with comprehensive reporting on the status of projects as work is completed and simplifies data transfer for payroll processing.
Individuals utilize the B2W Employee App on their iOS or Android mobile devices to track their hours, projects, and associated accounts. Additionally, employees can record equipment usage hours, and production quantities for a job accomplished. Work logs can be customized with notes and adjustable fields to track weather conditions, safety compliance, and other data.
Labor hours logged via the B2W Employee App and crew field logs are accessible in a single area within B2W Track, a comprehensive B2W field monitoring, and analysis system. Administrators and supervisors with the required credentials can then evaluate, approve, and analyze hours and directly transfer data to accounting systems for payroll processing.
The B2W Employee App comes standard with an integrated workflow for electronic employee sign-off, submission, and validation. Employees can access the software in an online, real-time mode. Additionally, they can create and amend work logs while disconnected and then transmit them to a server once a connection is established.
Individual employees or administrators can produce work logs using the new app. Additionally, previous work logs can be transferred to save time when creating new logs.
